Quick updates
Feb. 23rd, 2005 10:09 amAm currently at my demo station at the conference. Since most folks are in session, figured I'd post a quick update on a few links:
First, a nice Toy Fair wrap, including some mention of the upcoming JLU and Titans figures.
Second, new iPods! Better price points and battery life!
Third, some senile old crackpot is raving about gay marriage again. It would sure suck if this nutcase is given any power.
And here's another crackpot raving about stuff. You're all just acting like Sanford and Sons, dabnabbit!
Finally, we now own the new Tori CD! With bonus seed packet!

Date: 2005-02-23 07:41 pm (UTC)On a Sea of Fluer de Lis. It's not a half bad cover....I like it a lot more than Jason does.
I'm geeked....March 19th we'll be seeing him at The Ark. If I can manage to swing the cheap tix, I'll be seeing Solas there on the 9th. Lots of folk music-y goodness coming right up fer me!!!!
BTW, did ye see me mentioning yer way Glengarry Bhoys? Should be your type of thing. (http://www.glengarrybhoys.com/)

Date: 2005-02-23 09:47 pm (UTC)You're such a pusher.;)
You know, there was a brief period when I actually liked the pope. Of course, that was back in the mid-eighties when I was still nominally Catholic...now I think that he should bloody retire and let someone who's actually been out in the world in the last thirty years have a shot at screwing things up.
Hmm...since I was baptized and all, I wonder if I'd have a shot at it. I could be the next Pope Joan! ;)

Date: 2005-02-23 10:32 pm (UTC)So I've been told. :-)
What's scary about the Pope is that since he's had so long to influence the College of Cardinals, odds are that his successor will have his attitudes exactly.
