Dear NBC:

Fuck you. Fuck you a lot. You have one fucking top-tier show on your entire fucking network (with apologies to the Law and Order mafia on my FL and the six people who still watch Will and Grace and imagine it's as funny as it was seven years ago, and acknowledgment that Medium is fun and on my Tivo subscription list). Yet Scrubs gets held back as a midseason replacement while shit like Joey gets promoted because some executive got a handjob from the show's producers.

Hope you sink to fucking sixth in the ratings, assholes. Fuck it, I'm rooting for you guys to fall below Pax.

Damn, I thought Joey already crashed and burned and was gone gone gone.

Stuff like this is why TV is so disappointing. Some of us don't want to sit down for an evening of mindless jr. high sex joke drivel. :P

Oh well. Hurray for books! :D

Wow, that just sucks. I don't know who the producers of Scrubs pissed off, but they're constantly getting hosed by NBC. From switching nights, to switching times, and now this. Unbelievable.

This is why the only time my TV is on without a DVD playing is when we're performing our daily ritual of watching Home Improvement and the Simpsons on Fox.

[livejournal.com profile] tygerlilly and I only ever watch Food Network and Comedy Central. And even then I very rarely watch anything.

The broadcast networks suck ass and need to go away.

Unfortunately, cable's outside of my budgetary reach, or I'd watch a lot of Nick Jr. too.

My friend...I am not quite sure how you are feeling about things. Could you elaborate on your mind set during this posting? :) I think there is some room for detail. LOL

And those new shows look awful.

What the hell was Jason Lee thinking??

Speaking of next season, I see that Kevin Sorbo has gotten a sitcom on one of the Big Three (I forget which). Does this mean Andromeda is toast, or will it continue without Dylan?

Will it culminate in the destruction of the worldship, re-discovery of Tarn Vedra and re-founding of the Commonwealth?

Or were all those plotlines wrapped up after I stopped watching?

Will Rev and Tyr come back for guest appearances?

Will Kevin Sorbo emote?

Noooo! Scrubs! My one true love!

Damn.

And the only Law and Order I watch religiously is SVU.

Technically, the NBC press release didn't say "midseason" but that "fan favorites" Scrubs and (ugh) Fear Factor would return sometime. Presumably once one of the new shows tanks.

It's still incredibly lame. At first, I overlooked it and thought they didn't even mention Scrubs in the press release.
