According to Rich Johnston (a phrase which, admittedly, has often carried the same credibility as "according to The Weekly World News"), Alan Moore has severed all ties with DC, and future League of Extraordinary Gentlemen books will be published by Top Shelf and Knockabout.

ETA: The article also mentions that Moore and Melinda Gebbie are engaged. Which means, I can only hope, that they'll finally get another volume of their jointly-produced erotica out there. Not that I'm desperately waiting to see more scenes of classic characters like Alice or Dorothy getting it on, or anything.

Oh God, that V for Vendetta movie is going to be an abortion.

What is this now, 0 for 4 on Alan Moore movies? I'm fed up.

Where does this leave the rest of the ABC books?

I like this. What's good for Top Shelf is good for comics as a medium.

::holds ears and pretends that no one is going to make a movie of Watchmen::

You know how you do Watchmen? 12-part HBO miniseries. Outside the Hollywood system. I don't know who you get to direct it, but you certainly don't try to make it into a 2-hour movie and you don't bloody well put it through the wringer of the "script doctors" who've made every Moore adaptation an experience akin to having one's genitals burned with a blowtorch. Oy.

And Chris Staros is a prince of a fellow. And he's shown me his collection of Elvis memorabilia.

But again, what now becomes of Tom Strong, Cobweb, Smax etc.?

Weird. I thought they'd married long ago.

Or you could just watch The Outer Limits episode that he ripped the plot off from.

So having the episode on tv inside the book was, like, his bibliographic citation?

I thought Neil Gaiman just mentioned recently that Alan Moore had a wife and they had a girlfriend. Maybe I'm confusing him with someone else.
