Hard Boiled 2, X-Box Boogaloo

According to the latest issue of GameInformer, John Woo and Midway are producing a game for the X-Box and PS# called Strangehold, which will be a sequel to Hard Boiled.

Quoting the article:

[The Game] even features the voice-acting talent of star Chow Yun Fat as he reprises his role as Inspector Tequila.

Really not sure how I feel about this.

Oh, wait. I am sure. I don't fucking want it or need it.

And no, they don't say if CYF is reprising his role as Tequila in English, or in subbed Chinese.

Yaknow, I'm starting to think that Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo is one of the more influential movies of our times. I think I've seen it referenced like that as often as Star Wars

It is, hands down, the best title a sequel has ever had.

Knowing how localizations turn out, they'll probably dub it over with English. I'll only consider playing it if a) Chow does the English or b) They keep the original dialogue and have it subtitled, the way all good Hong Kong action flicks were meant to be.

This is because I was entirely disappointed at how Jean Reno only did like three lines of French for Onimusha 3 and the rest of the audio work was done in English by some guy who sounded like a reject from an 80s Saturday morning cartoon.
