Well, Comcast was nice enough to add two new channels to the lineup: the long-missed Boomerang (how the fuck did we not get that, of all things?), and Logo. the channel for gay people who program on Apple IIe computers.
Sweet! An Apple IIe reference! I grew up using one of those and sometimes, late at night as I'm drifting off to sleep, I can still hear the faint sound of my dad playing Lode Runner at all hours of the night. :)
Boomerang is God. Boomerang is what has led my 8-year-old daughter to say things like, "Hey, Dad? Have you ever seen this show called 'Banana Splits'?" Yes!
It was on the album Saturday Morning Cartoons' Greatest Hits. I somehow don't have it burned on my computer at work, but I'll see if I can find it when I get home tonight.
Damn it... I wanna see Scott Thompson marry people (that seems to be the only "QUALITY" original programming they have other than the Alan Cumming hosted Comedy special)... they have some travel show too it looks like...
that Scott thompson show sounds kinda fun really though.
