As most of you probably know, [livejournal.com profile] shadesong and I have been in Malden, MA since Thursday night, staying at [livejournal.com profile] docorion and [livejournal.com profile] beowabbit's house. Been quite fun.

Yesterday's adventures included wandering the town (which has a nifty comic shop, always important), then heading to Harvard Square to meet up with [livejournal.com profile] mgrasso and [livejournal.com profile] ayalanya, where we spent at least an hour in Pandemoneum Books. I showed true restraint and only bought two games -- the Puerto Rico expansion (which I hadn't realized even existed!) and Girl Genius: The Works.

We also bought lots of books and stuff there, at Newbury Comics, and at TokyoKid (where I also got Men's Pocky and Yan Yan!).

Dinner was sushi, followed by dessert at Finale. Yum.

This morning, I read one of the books we bought -- Jane Yolen and Adam Stemple's Pay the Piper: A Rock and Roll Fairy Tale -- to pass the time until a certain other book gets delivered from Amazon today. But, alas, I've finished it, and still no half-blood anything. Dammit.

Anyway, not really checking email or LJ. But we're alive and having fun!

Oh, and according to Newsarama, Peter David's doing a new X-Factor series! Woohoo!

Glad you're enjoying Boston. Note that Harvard Square has something like four different ice cream shops, and Ben & Jerry's is third in my estimation (Toscanini's and Herrell's beat it; I prefer Tosci's, but Herrell's is arguably as good). Fourth is B*sk*n-R*bb*ns.

The PR expansion is fun to play with; I bought a copy for my club's game library.

Peter David and X-factor.

Did the blurb say who would be on the team?
