[livejournal.com profile] shadesong: Claymation needs no reason.

Me: Especially when it's a soup monster eating someone's uvula.

I like when Claymation is raping a girl and she dies because it's a bodyless freak whos penis is probably full of warts and spiky skin and he ripped her apart...

yesh...

Hi, can I kill you for being tasteless now?

(Adam, I'm REALLY hoping there's something I'm missing here, otherwise you're going to have a nice flamewar. *smiles sweetly*)

Nope... cause that's SERIOUSLY from a movie...

It's one the last scenes in the Henenlotter "classic" Basketcase... there's some hilarious Claymation in that one.

here's some less violent claymation:

Oh, God.

You said it was claymation so there was no way it could be the first thing *I* thought of--Legend of the Overfiend, one of the most appalling anime I've ever seen. So many peni! So many exploding girls!

zarhooie: always misses something, you don't sound like you miss much... it's just pop-culture, no one really cares.

piperdawn: I despise Hentai, but I've heard that Urotsukidoji is the genius of the form. I'll never find out unless some strange girl wants to watch it with me.

Ah, yes, but that was not Claymation. Just regular cel animation.

Happiness of the Katakuris, actually. But now we have something else to watch! Orrrr not. Um. Do we?

Um. No. I saw one of them at a Spike & Mike's Sick and Twisted festival. This is what I wrote about it for a zine:

'Animalistic Times, from Clayboy Enterprises (they also did the reportedly notorious Sloaches Fun House, which I have not seen), is an interminable and mean-spirited — not to mention unfunny — wallow in which a foul-mouthed old man abuses people in a garage. (The garage motif also showed up in another bad toon whose title I didn't catch, in which a mechanic shoves an old lady into an engine fan.) After watching some ugly Claymation codger screw a massive woman while calling her "a piece of shit," and then later ejaculate all over another woman, I yearned for a long shower. It's just pointlessly gratuitous offensiveness, though I suppose that's why Clayboy Enterprises has a cult following.'
