yendiFor the six people who don't already own it, George R. R. Martin's A Game of Thrones is being re-issued at a bargain price of $3.99. That's an average of less than a halfpenny a page.
(And no, I still haven't read it, nor do I plan to until he finishes the series, but everyone I know who has read it treats it like the literary merger of crack and fine caviar).

That said, I finished the first novel in that series and was unimpressed, so I never picked up the next one.
