Sky High

On the one hand, Sky High is literally the most predictable movie I've ever seen.

On the other, it's still lots of fun. It's hard to go wrong with Kurt Russell, Bruce Campbell, Kelly Preston, two Kids in the Hall, and a wonderful cameo by Cloris Leachman. Some good jokes, more than I expected, actually.

On the third hand, I'd still rather see a true adaptation of PS238.

Still it was fun.

I saw one trailer for Sky High where it looked like they were using an old Disney photo of Kurt Russell as Dexter Riley as a yearbook photo from the past. Any other jabs at The Computer Wore Tennisshoes, Now You See Him Now You Don't, or The Strongest Man in the World?

I didn't catch any, but I wouldn't rule them out. They also had at least one joke based on Lynda Carter's previous work.

See it, but for the characters and the acting, not the "plot."
