Gah. You know how I said yesterday that we were still waiting on a technical issue to enroll the classes? Well, that got fixed, which meant I spent the majority of the day kicking ass and chewing bubble gum, and took care of running the scripts for every one of the classes we'd created for the fall.

Of course, yesterday was also the day we sent out a reminder notice for faculty to make request. Number of requests that came in since 4:00PM yesterday afternoon? 82, all of which need to be created and then scripted. Time to kick more ass and chew more bubble gum.

And I'm all out of bubble gum.

On the plus side, I've got this song on repeat. Possibly the best song I've got for just jumping into a project.

Oh, hey -- iTunes folks -- one of the freebie downloads this week is a reading and Q&A with Christopher Paolini about Eldest. I know there's an Eragon fan or two out there. :-)

Elayna's first day of school went well (or, at least, didn't go horribly -- there's only so much that can happen on the first day), although she stayed up late last night (we caught her about an hour past her bedtime reading comics -- she hasn't learned the sneaky tricks we knew at that age, like using a flashlight under the covers -- and she woke up early this morning when she fell out of bed. So I expect a somewhat cranky sleep-deprived child when I get home today.

Oh, we did get to see the new Harvey Birdman! Yay! Birdgirl! All of the original team has finally appeared on the new show!

Time to hit the grindstone.

Thanks to Jason working at B&N, and all the goodies he gets to bring home, I can say that Eldest totally kicks ass. I had to reread Eragon again, first, to make sure I rememberd what the heck was going on, but it was well worth it :)

The other good one is "This is Your GOD" that is written on the money.

The subliminals really do take the movie from interesting schlock to an enjoyable movie.

I think you have more ass than you ever had gum.

Yes, Birdgirl ep was great.

It was amusing to see my interest in the JLU hawkgirl transfer over to Birdgirl.

Er, that didn't sound right, the ass thing.

I meant you had more problems to fix than you should have to deal with.
