Evil trees!

The bridge behind the library is closed off, and there's a sign that reads Bridge Closed -- Dangerous Trees. I so want to see one of them reach down, grab one of the foolish people who snuck under the caution tape instead of walking two minutes out of their way, and chomp down on them. But I think the sign was really referring to the fact that the branches are broken and might fall.

And I didn't get to see anyone crushed by a branch, either.

Dangerous Trees would be an excellent name for a horror movie. :) Almost as good as Snakes on a Plane (http://movies.monstersandcritics.com/news/article_1041537.php/Jackson_battles_snakes_on_a_plane).

And then there could be a crossover -- Snakes on a Plane meet the Evil Trees. It'd be like this generation's Dollman Meets Evil Toys (unless you consider Puppet Master Meets Demonic Toys to be this generation's DMET, in which case, um, it's this generation's Freddy vs. Jason, or maybe Aliens vs Predator).

Back in MY day, we didn't have SIGNS warning us of evil trees! Every so often, someone would just disappear from the bridge and never return!
