Well he didn't become popular until My Best Friends Wedding. Cemetary Man came about a year previous (I remember we had to quickly replace the Evil Dead Trilogy at the U of MN Bijou and the howls of rage were terrible. Few saw Cemetary Man because of it because they only knew it as "the fucking movie that isn't the Evil Dead Trilogy.")

What is the history of that movie though? It seems like an Italian movie but why is it all in English?

Actually, it was based on an Italian novel (but the same guy wrote some comics, as well). But I don't know the exact details on the Italian/English thing.

Yeah, we need to get one. But I'm also a special edition snob, and without a British or American edition of the movie, I'd be kicking myself if a better edition came along after paying tons of money for an import.

That is one fine actor. I still have trouble believing he's gay after seeing the graveyard sex scene in that movie. Of couse my eyes weren't really on him, but still...

My friend got a bootleg copy that was subtitled in swiss and japanese. It was letterbox so it wasn't so bad.
