Friday adventures
Aug. 26th, 2005 02:47 pmThe good thing about the next few days: Lots of free food.
My definition of restraint: I only had five slices of Savage Pizza at lunch today. Anyone who thinks that's a lot has never had the goodness of their pizza (for the record, the split was two slices each of tomato/basil and chicken florentine, and one of Mai Pai).
Last night's adventure was attending the initial PTA meeting at Elayna's school. In a one-hour meeting, exactly three minutes of worthwhile business was conducted, making it possibly the most useful PTA meeting ever. The snackage included hummus, pre-shelled edamame, and Crystal Light.
Caught the third episode of Slings and Arrows last night, which was a blast. Have I mentioned the whole being in love with Rachel McAdams thing? Well, I'll mention it again.
40 pages left in The Big Over Easy. If I was anything less than swamped today, I'd take a real lunch and finish it. Instead, I'll have to wait for my bus ride home.
My inbox is filling up faster than I can respond to calls, not helped by some notable (and questionable) absences around here today.
I started this post six hours ago. And managed to say absolutely nothing. Sheesh.
