TV updates
Sep. 7th, 2005 10:13 amDidn't watch Slings and Arrows yet (because I forgot to record it -- let's hear it for Sundance and their ludicrously rerun-intensive schedule!), or Rome (too tired).
Surreal Life: Bait and fucking switch. I thought we'd actually be seeing someone thrown off the show, not out of Vegas. That said, Janice continues to show herself as possibly the most annoying person ever to walk the planet.
Prison Break: No cat on Valium this week! Woohoo! And I just loved the new cellmate's first lines. As with all conspiracy shows, I worry that they'll dig a hole they can't dig out of, but it's fun so far.

Date: 2005-09-07 06:39 pm (UTC)Don't believe me? I present as evidence: Season Seven of Buffy, and the aborted Point Pleasant from last fall on Fox.
Still, this show is good enough so far, but I gotta wonder about if it becomes a huge hit and they get a renewal offer for next year. What, does Robin Tunney get arrested for all the obstruction of justice she's liable to commit over this season, and Wentworth Miller has to get ALL NEW tattoos to break her out of jail? (And dress in drag, to boot, which ... damn, that might be worth it.)

And like any show on Fox, I'm always a little cautious about getting too involved in the story, lest it just vanish overnight (as Fox shows are wont to do).
