Call me crazy, but I love the whole Jackass/Wildboyz stuff. It's dumb, yeah, but it's just physical comedy.

two films that have suggested he may not have any box office draw ("Grand Theft Parsons," "A Dirty Shame," "Walking Tall," "Lords of Dogtown" and "Daltry Calhoun").

Um... one of those BARELY came out in theatres and was a BIOPIC about Phillip Kaufman (Grand Theft Parsons)... so... um... yeah! The other, which actually looks really good (Daltry Calhoun) also BARELY came out to get a judgement on Box Office Draw! Also neither film got much of ANY promotion...

The rest... he's not the Box Office Draw (in one The Rock is... the other... the PLOT is), so He wouldn't be the Box Office Draw or Flop there...)

I also don't expect Knoxville to say yes to the film. He's a little busy actually establishing himself anyway.

Right now he's working on an adaptation of Elmore Leonard's Killshot directed by John Madden and starring Thomas Jane and Mickey Rourke. Following that he's got Hawaiin Dick. Now of course, he COULD quickly assist Bam and gang with a Jackass 2. I don't think he'll see the point though. Notice the movie has been REQUESTED but nothing about anyone saying "OKAY!". Knoxville has been in talks with Bennett Miller recently too. Maybe he'll be doing Hawaiian Dick or maybe it's for something else.

BTW, yes... I think Knoxville is a good actor. He steals the show in Men in Black II (hate or love it) and earlier showed chops in movies that weren't good... but not because of him.

seeing the jackass cast of characters actually getting seriously hurt would be a better box office draw than seeing the typical jackass stuff.
