Remember when I griped about the possibility of Prison Break not airing until May?

Well, that's better than reading Kristin at E saying:

I hear Fox is seriously rethinking the plan of airing the final nine episodes of the season in May after USA Today ran the story prematurely and the fans flipped. The bad news? Wednesday at 9, opposite Lost and Veronica Mars, is now an option. Kill me now.

Really, put it there, and you're basically forcing me to download your show, at best.

On the plus side, the same column reports that Threshold is moving to Tuesdays at 10, which should be a better place for it (I was worried, since I'd heard the Tuesday date mentioned after last Friday's episode, but was afraid I'd be looking at House or Gilmore conflicts).

wont be an easy spot for Threshold...it'll be against veteran time slot owner L&O:SVU and Boston Legal...Braga has to battle Kirk and Odo now...

True, but in that slot, at least they're not against other shows in the same genre.

My sentiments exactly. I honestly don't know why they think it'd have a chance. The best thing they could do would be to put it in a slot against shows that don't rely as heavily on continuity or attract a similar audience.

The show, much as I like it, works because there's really nothing else in its time slot. It's too violent for the 8pm hour and if they show it at 10 they lose viewers. You don't put your new drama, however lovely against two critically acclaimed dramas.

Oh hell... if that happens, I'll watch Lost in reruns. I'm more in Prison Break then the damned island.
