Back in town/Tuesday notes

1. Back in town. Trip was wonderful and too short.

2. Didn't read LJ at all.

3. Did play KOL. And got shadesong hooked, finally!

3.5 Am currently working on killing reindeer. Have earned the trophy for nailing ten of the buggers, and I'm going for 100 now.

I need to find a wand in here somewhere. Grrrr. I'm oxy hardcore so I don't want to waste the turns when I can spend them in Crimbotown right now.

If Jick can just keep Crimbotown open another 3 days, I should be able to get the 100 deer trophy...

WIth Oxy Harcore, I could see why you might be reconsidering.

Jick supposedly (according to the forums) is keeping Crimbo open through the end of the year.

Ironically, it's the Hardcore that's making it in some ways easier to kill the reindeer. I've got the Plexiglass Pith Helmet, which among other fabulous things, heals me 4-8 HP and 4-8 MP after every battle. Which lets me thrust-smack away with wild abandon.

If all else fails I can do it in two days if I burn up the last of the canned air. but if it's open to the end of the year, I should be fine. Even a bit of time to make some more elf items.

I wish I knew how far I was from collecting the trophy -- I didn't know about it until well after I'd started exploring.

Battling's been pretty easy for me -- I'm a Disco Bandit on this run (and I'm liking that class enough that I may spend a few ascensions on it), and I'm leading each battle with a Disco Dance 2 -- Electric Boogaloo, and then just hitting away with the sign while my GPoaS helps out.
