Assuming no new content shows up in the Crimbo (or any other) area, I'm sticking to the Gnomad Camp for a while. I've hit level nine (and done the Leaflet quest), and I'm now attempting to get all of the Supertinkered items. I've gotten the Clockwork Grapefruit and the MagiMechTech MicroMechaMech so far. Clockwork Keys seem to drop all too rarely (ditto flanges).

I'm seriously contemplating going for the 300 Pound Load trophy on this run. With five new familiars (between Crimbo and ThunderGnome), as well as the ones I got in previous ascensions, it's a possibility. This is definitely not a speed run for me this time.

I'm collecting Crimbo toys. Of course, this is only my second ascension, so I'm not up to a speed ascension yet. There is still too much exploring to do.

I really need to earn enough money to buy some trophies, though. I've earned both reindeer trophies and can't afford them. :)

I'm pretty sure you'll still be able to buy the trophies after Crimbo town goes away (although I'd do so before Ascension).

Absolutely. Ascension is probably at least a few weeks away at this point. Too busy puttering around. :)

I definitely want to build up a few trophies before I ascend. At least 100 pound load (which I earned, but didn't buy during my first ascension) and the reindeer ones. I think I would like to actually build up a bit of meat before I go, too. I had under 1,000 in Hagnk's after my first ascension...I felt embarassed to withdraw it, almost.

Once you activate the trophy, I think it's always available from the Hut.

Nope, you have to get all trophies prior to ascending, or they goes away.

Damn, so I lost my A trophy with my multi since I didn't get it before Ascension. Crap.

The "I was here for ascension" might be a special case, so just check the trophy hut.

But it's a multi, so it's not that big a deal. My main is for trophies.

The fact that 10 Clockwork Keys in a single Ascension is a trophy should clue you in to how rare they drop (even with Phat Loot, a 35 pound Gravy Fairy and equipment that helped drops, it took a damned lot of adventures to get 10).

I got the 300 pound load my first play through. More familiars does help, though. Once I get all 3 from Strength sign ascensions, I might go for the Black Hole trophy.

nichy got distracted long enough that she lost her accounts, though, which sucks. I hadn't thought about it to remind her to log in at least once a month. I barely did it before Crimbo Town as it was.

The keys you've already collected count toward the trophy, I believe, even if you've used them. It's the getting, not the having.

Excellent! I've gotten two so far (one for each of the familiars). Out of turns for the day, so the farming will begin again tomorrow. I suspect I'll have maxed out my Flaming Faerie's weight before i finish.

Yes, I'm going to take up residence in the Gnome village after my next ascension. I've got 30 keys, and will just keep right on building away.

The clock work grapefruit is awesome just for the dialogue bits

Yeah, I wasted a bunch of turns using the grapefruit (instead of my flaming faerie), just because I wanted to see the dialogue.

The MicroMechaMech has some amazing combat potential, too.
