Alone Again (Naturally)
Dec. 30th, 2005 08:51 amUnlike Gilbert O'Sullivan or Biz Markee, though, I'm not lamenting that.
'song made it safely to her destination (although there was certainly some confusion en route, which she might post about when she returns). That means that I not only had the house to myself yesterday, but will do so today and tomorrow, as well (Elayna returns on Sunday).
Yes, two-and-a-half days of having the house to myself.
As anyone who knows me is aware, I need alone time -- I'm relatively extreme in my introverted nature. At most, I get that for a few hours here or there during the year (I don't count staying up after everyone has gone to bed, although that's a manifestation of it as well).
But today and tomorrow -- it's all me. Dear god, I need that.
I've already accomplished important things, like watching six episodes on Tivo of Black Books, grocery shopping, and renting High Tension.
Since today's a work holiday, no need to wake up early or head in to the office, either. I might head to Northlake later, or just read the entire day, or try cooking eggs in a bag.
Happy penultimate day of the year to all of you!

Dylan Moran is a god. Possibly Dionysus, but most definitely a god.
