Lots of fun over the last day or two. I've met lots of folks on my FL for the first time -

happypete, and probably others I'm forgetting, not out of malice but out of lack of sleep -- as well as even more folks with LJs who hadn't previously ended up on my FL. I'm just having

shadesong keep track of names. :-)

Elayna's having a blast, helped by the fact that, unlike Dragoncon, the kid section of the con is well run enough to allow the adults to actually enjoy the con. She did complain about her feet hurting when she went to bed -- we probably should have warned her that this happens to everyone at a con.

Spent a nice hour or so earlier in the evening in the hotel bar, knocking back a pair of rum and tonics (Mount Gay rum, of course) while chatting with

envoy and

mgrasso. Later grabbed dinner with

jmspencer at Fire and Ice. This is damned high on my list of new favorite restaurants. So damned good. Con time, needless to say, is not diet time (and who can think diet when you're in one of the few environments in which you don't even crack the top 10% of overweight people?).

Spent some time relaxing earlier in the evening (including watching the freebie episode of Monk that the iTunes store has available), and have basically just enjoyed the con as a whole.

Good day or not, I'm not in the world's greatest headspace right now -- not something I'll go into deep detail on given my lack of caffeine and sleep, but definitely something triggered by the general environment. Sleep, however, will take care of that, so I think I'll head up to the room to take care of that.
