Al Lewis has died.

He was wonderful on The Munsters, of course, and I also fondly recall his commercials for his restaurant and his interviews on Midnight Blue in the '80s. He just always seemed to be enjoying himself so much.

He was a Ramones fan?! I just created a tv series in my head where, every week, Grandpa Munster and The Ramones would travel to a new part of the country, solving crimes and seeking out adventure. Now it shall never be.

If I recall right, he didnt let a single day pass without reading a book cover to cover...

He and Fred Gwynne were one of the most unheralded comedy teams ever...as opposite as two people could get, yet they made such a team...

A Green and a Ramones fan?

I wanted to comment and then realized I have nothing to say. These people amaze me, but I know nothing until they die and I find out.
