The Mets have announced a season-long celebration of the '86 championship team.
Given the season-long celebration that was the '86 Mets, I'm wondering how well this was thought through.
And I have to wonder if Ed "It’s like living with a family all year and getting thrown out of the house on Christmas Eve" Lynch, traded halfway through that season, is coming to the party.

Dwight Gooden never lived up to his talent, Darryl Strawberry...nuff said. Gary Carter was never really the same after 1986 and Keith Hernendez had several up and won seasons.
Davey Johnson...basically clueless?
