Just got an email from the good folks at Mount Gay Rum (and although I adore rum in general, I'm incredibly brand loyal to Mount Gay). I'd entered, and completely forgotten, a contest on their site last year, and I won an autographed copy of Rum: A Social and Sociable History of the Real Spirit of 1776! Yay!

i almost bought this the other day! but i got 5 or 6 other books instead b/c they cost the same. :) i love used bookstores.

Which one do you recommend? Perusing the shelves where I work, we stock four types: Extra Old, Sugar Cane, Reserve 80 and Refined. Or should I just pick one and work my way through all of them ;-)

10 Canes is also verra nice.
