From Kristen at E: I do believe they may be doing what I said--holding off on new episodes until the show has a better lead-in, so people will see them and the show can survive! Trust me, the network is behind the show and wants to do right by it. At least, that's definitely the sense I've gotten. I just heard back from UPN. And yes, the new episodes of Veronica Mars that were supposed to air Feb. 15, Feb. 22 and Mar. 1 have been pushed back. It hasn't been announced yet when they will air. Sorry! I know. It sucks to wait, but I honestly think it's a good thing for the show.
ETA: But great Firefly news: I've heard the CW is considering bringing it back as a series, miniseries or movie for next season. Hurrah! For you who missed my message board posting, on Tuesday, Nate Fillion, Summer Glau and Gina Torres were seen coming out of one of the exec buildings at Paramount, where they are putting together the new CW unit.
