Don't forget -- Veronica Mars returns tonight! With Yet Another Annoying MTV Reality Slut as a guest star (each season needs one, for some reason -- last year, it was Paris Hilton, this year, it's the girl from The Real OC), but as long as it's back, I'll deal.

And if you haven't watched Big Love yet (and why wouldn't you? It's got Bill Paxton and crazy backwoods Mormons!), it's like a VM best friends reunion show, as Amanda "Lily Kane" Seyfried is Bill's oldest daughter, and Tina "Mac" Majorino plays her co-worker.

I watched Big Love last night. I liked it enough to watch it again. That's my review.

And yet the episode with Paris Hilton was still good - even though it was only beginning to show some development in teh Weevil/Logan dichotomy (Logan was still a prick in the second episode but he didn't set up Weevil.)

Although you know what's funny. When I saw that episode with Weevil playing poker with Logan and Duncan for the first time in order (as opposed to as a very very confusing rerun that made me wonder why the bus crash wasn't being discussed) I loved the irony of Duncan telling Logan that he had gone to the Dark Side and gradually got meaner and nastier, when in the time line of the show he started out a prick and was gradually becoming more human (or at least understandable) to the point where him and Veronica getting together at the end of the season made sense.

Oh VM is not half as obnoxious as Smallville with its product placement.

Mother Kent is dying and YOU CAN WIN A CAR!! - it's Back to the Future II product placement time on Smallville.

She's talking about the character, not the computer.
