I know there are a lot of Dead Like Me fans out there (I've never seen it, as we're an HBO house, not a Showtime one). Amazon is selling the box set of Season 2 of Dead Like Me for $17.47, a whopping 65% off.

Season 1 is excellent. Season 2...well, I think it they had made a Season 3 we could probably go back and pinpoint the moment that it jumped the shark. They had some great ideas, but they kind of lost the sense of being set in a particular city (Seattle) and they decided not to be true to a couple of the characters in favor of using them for an interesting plot.

a friend only recently introduced this series to me and I rented the 4 DVDs just this past week. Where exactly doesn Season 2 begin? What I saw went up to when they'reall at George's grave, toasting with champagne.

Honestly, I've got no idea. Amazon claims that season 1 is four discs, but they've made mistakes before.

And I agree with the masses that say you'd like the show. Especially the first season. (The second season lost ...something, but I'm not sure what, or where.) Still, Mandy Patinkin as a sarcastic Grim Reaper Shift Supervisor was a brilliant casting decision.

You should watch it. Seriously. Did you watch Wonderfalls? Very similar in terms of tone.
