Holy shit, did that show kick ass!
Other than "French Perfume" and "Little Beggarman," I think they hit every song I could have hoped for, and then some. Just an amazing show. As others have already reported, no opening act, just two great sets of GBS material, starting with "Captain Kidd," and finishing two-and-a-half hours (and one intermission) later with "Old Black Rum."
And they've managed to make "Mari-Mac" even faster since last time. :-)

Date: 2006-04-25 04:18 pm (UTC)Anyway: They did most of my favorites, though, and of the three GBS shows I've seen, this tour's was definitely the greatest. Which "horse through the ice" song did they do? Alan said they were doing only one per show. We got "Charlie Horse." :)
