Dipstick for caffeine!
May. 12th, 2006 02:06 pmNot only are scientists working on creating a dipstick to test beverages for caffeine (theoretically for those who want to avoid it, but it would work equally well for those of us who want to make sure that bastard of a waiter didn't just pour of a cup of decaf because he's too lazy to make a new pot of regular coffee), but the test involves using camel and llama antibodies.

Date: 2006-05-14 03:16 pm (UTC)I never worry about baristas -- they're coffee professionals. It's waiters in non-coffee-centric restaurants I worry about. Given no incentive to get the coffee order correct, and a table with mixed decaf/real coffee orders, why bother searching for that second coffeepot?
