Memorial Day

So, on Memorial Day, I got lots of stuff done.

As long as your definition of "lots of stuff" includes finally beating Xaldin* in Kingdom Hearts 2 and catching copious amounts of the Law and Order: CI marathon on USA. I got a lot of amusement out of the fact that the villain on one of those episodes was played by the guy who voices Dr. Venture.

*Full name: Motherfucking Xaldin with those cheating-ass spears and the fucking laser beam.

It took me a really long time to get past him. I had to give up and go do something else first and level a couple of times.

Incidentally, I'm finally reading Dreamspawn and I'm really enjoying it.

I finally beat him by switching out Beast for Goofy, who not only has the shield-throwing attack, but has a limit move that actually hit at a distance. Between those, and some luck with the learn/jump thing, I finally got him.
