Fuck Italy beating Germany in soccer (fuck the Italian team in general -- I'm rooting for France/Portugal). The real sports event of the day took place at Coney Island. Takeru Kobayashi set a new hot-dog eating record! Woohoo!

As for me, I only ate one hot dog today at irana's party, but I also put down a pork chop, jerk chicken, curry chicken, and 3/4 a D-burger (plus side dishes and desserts). I figure I'd partner well with Kobayashi in a pro-am.

The problem is that Kobayashi can eat more hotdogs or he can fail but not feel sick when he sees a hotdog.

True, but the thing about records is that they get harder to break each time the bar gets raised. Plus, I'm not sure that things like performance-enhancing drugs can help here.
