1. There's such a mixed feeling at seeing these words on the big screen: Transformers . . . by Michael Bay.

It's a bit like going to a restaurant and having the waiter tell you that the special is, "lobster, rolled in horse manure."

Although I'd bet more money on the lobster than the Transfomers.

2. As noted by [livejournal.com profile] felisdemens: Severed Horse-head Pillows! For those times when you need to send a "business associate" a special message, and you just can't find a real horse.

3. Over in KOL, thanks to the Mysticality Day yesterday, I'm at level 15 and have Transcendental Noodlecrafting. I'll probably wait until next week's muscle days before ascending again (probably with Seal Clubber and Eye of the Stoat in mind).

4. Breakfast today was a rare eating-out treat -- Java Jive. Yum. I had me a nice double bullseye with bacon and hash browns on the side. [livejournal.com profile] shadesong had the gingerbread waffles.

5. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest has set the record for the highest-grossing opening day. Rock on.

'Transformers: The Movie' to me sounds as promising as 'Super Mario Brothers: The Movie,' no matter whose name is next to it. Maybe you have to be a little younger than I am.

Although 'Transformers... By Mike Leigh' might be intriguing.

What's really funny about that severed horsehead pillow is that when I was about ten, I had a pillow in the shape of a horse's head. It wasn't intended to be morbid, and at the time I certainly didn't think of it that way (and neither did my parents, apparently), but when I found a picture of it recently in an old photo album, I was bemused.

You're comparing Transformers to lobster? Seriously?

So according to IMDB, Michael Bay was in an episode of "Miami Vice" in 1986 playing the coveted part of "Goon". I thought you'd enjoy that.
