I got bored after twenty or so, but yeah, they are certainly fun. *g* I would recommend not slamming the entire collection in a summer, which was my mistake.
Yeah, I came dangerously close to checking 'em all out of the library, but I realized that I'd probably hit a wall. I figure I'll just toss one down every few months when I need a break from my usual sf/fantasy and nonfic routine.
I like the 87th Precinct novels, but I found that their quality can vary wildly from book to book. Still, they're a good way to kill a wet Saturday afternoon.
