Brendon does have a new series coming — Relative Chaos, which also stars Charisma Carpenter. Of all the Buffy cast, the one who's seeming to have the most interesting post-show career is Amber Benson, who's branched out into cowriting books and writing/directing a movie.
Well, as someone noted in the comments, the handler is the person who acts like an asshole so the star doesn't have to. Nick might have had nothing to do with it, in which case, a public apology from him should make that pretty clear. But it's his representative, and if they're not communicating about things like this, that's a problem.
Benson's got the most interest post-show career by far, but I'd say that Gellar and Hannigan are probably the most successful in terms of hit movies/shows (with Anthony Head as kind of a wild card, since he had a career pre-Buffy).
Relative Chaos also features Jayne Eastwood (a good thing), and Terry Bradshaw (a sign that the show will be a screaming pile of donkey puke).
If someone is your "representative" then you are responsible for how they represent your interests... in this case, Nick seems to need to pay attention a bit more on how well or how poorly those interests *are* being represented.
This just makes me want to post the latest post rambling around in my head even more... I'm just having a hard time getting the words to line up and march.
Seems to be starting a pattern for the Buffy people, which is sad. James Marsters' handlers were also real assholes. One went over to my friend's son, who was sitting near the Walk of Fame table (across and down the way a bit, but out of the flow of traffic) and told him to move, because he was "too close." The kid was 12, and was sitting there to rest, and he promised his mother he wouldn't move. He did move a bit further down. I guess there were also some real trouble with the handlers before JM's concert, about who they were letting go in front...just rumours.
And I've noticed it's the outside handlers. The tracks that do their own "talent wrangling" have fewer problems--because they're accountable to their director, and probably because they're fans themselves and wouldn't treat other fans like crap.
