Lemony Snicket predicts the TSA!

Elayna and I were just playing A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Perilous Parlor Game, and I came across this Olaf Card:

Good dental hygiene, a word here which means "keeping your teeth clean so they don't rot and fall out," is important. But when Count Olaf replaces the Guardian's toothpaste with plastic explosives, the resulting blast causes not only the cavity of a lifetime, but the loss of three Life Points.

So we finally know what inspires the TSA. Yes, folks, the TSA determines their policy based on how they'd react to Count Olaf! I can only assume they also have a finely-trained staff of experts who can recognize bad wigs, false teeth, and odd-looking henchmen.
