Weekend stuffs

yendiFriday: We watched the premiere of Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo. Yay! It was so nice to get one more visit with some of my favorite cartoon characters. And this was a damned fine movie. Other than a visual cameo by Aqualad, this revolved around the five core members, and gave us some closure on the one dangling plotline amongst that group. Plus, some wonderful Beast Boy moments. My only complaint: the asshole programmers at CN who decided to play Tommy and Tara skits over the closing credits (which featured Beast Boy's alternate karaoke version of the song). Bastards.
Saturday: I figured out where the TSA gets their inspiration. And we caught up on Eureka and The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman. The latter just keeps getting better, largely due to the wonderful performances of Laura Kightlinger, Nicholle Tom (Supergirl!), and the wonderful Azura Skye (who steals every one of her scenes).
Sunday: Elayna had her first Girl Scouts meeting of the year! Yay! And I made salmon. Double yay!
Yeah. Not exactly the busiest weekend. But productive enough in its own way. After the last few weeks, downtime was a good thing.
