I'm reading lots of articles about the Large Hadron Collider. And yeah, it sounds cool enough, as these things go.

But about a Large Hadrian Collider? How cool would that be?

No, I don't know what we'd do with one, but science isn't about accomplishing things for the betterment of humanity. It's about saying, "hey, what would happen if we did this?" And then figuring out the answer.

Yes, a large Hadrian collider would be most impressive. The barrier the particles hit would be called the Hadrian Wall..

Not to much the other particles derived from the rear end collisions of Hadrian and Antinous.

Hmm..I best stop now.

It's about saying, "hey, what would happen if we did this?" And then figuring out the answer watching strange and unexpected things happen, and then much guessing as to why.

Before the first nuclear explosion tests, the scientists working on them genuinely thought one outcome might be a cascade reaction that boiled away the entire atmosphere of the planet. True story, according to Richard Feynman.

And you could have Adrian Cronauer speak at the Hadrian Collider! And get him there via a "Made-R.I.A.N." (i.e. "Made Really Indestructible And Never-breakable") Glider!
