yendiMaking Light is reporting that John M. Ford has passed away.
I'm stunned.
No words I can conjure can even come close to describing how much of a loss this is -- I feel right now like I did when I heard about Zelazny ten (?) years ago, or Effinger four years ago. Go read one of his books. Hell, go read all of them, and the Making Light post above (which links to many of the blog posts he wrote).
