Free BSG recap show at iTunes

The iTunes store has a free 40+ minute show recapping the first two seasons of Battlestar Galactica. I might give it a shot, since everyone and their brother insists that it's good (once you get past the miniseries).

BSG IS AMAZING. Watch it!!!!

My husband and I just watched the miniseries, all of season 1, season 2.0, season 2.5, and the miniseries again. I think we've seen the miniseries about 7 times already. It keeps getting better and better!

and yeah, the miniseries is good to watch because it establishes the world and the situation and the characters, but it's very typical "sci-fi show".
After that it gets into good drama.

Aren't you a Lost fan? Friends of mine who love Lost also love BSG.

We are Lost fans (and that strong continuity has been a reason I've held off -- I hate coming in mid-story). But the EW recap seemed decently thorough, and I'll give the download a watch.

Definitely give BSG a shot. The mini-series though not fantastic wasn't s bad as a lot of people say. I was skeptical in the beginning. A female Starbuck?? No way...never work. I was wrong. I was dead wrong. I haven't seen the recap. I don't feel like I need to as I have seen all the episiodes and I own the mini-series and 2 full seasons on DVD.

The show is amazing and I think in the third season they are really going to do some incredible things story wise.

I'd am looking forward to hearing what you think about it. Also, there are web episodes on scifi.com which lead up to the start of the season on the 6th of October. Once you get a feel for where things are, give those a shot too. They are short, and a little dull compared to the episodes, but I think they are going to provide some lead-in to the start of season 3.
