The Amazon Magazine Store doesn't always have the best prices, but they're currently running a promo offering a $5 Amazon promo certificate if you buy certain magazines (all linked off that front page). Some of the magazines -- Wired ($10), Popular Mechanics ($12), Esquire ($7), Cosmogirl ($8), etc -- are cheap enough to make that $5 a nice bonus. Even EW (at $39 for a year), is a pretty decent deal when you take that $5 into account.
There's a bunch of new DVDs on sale. No big sale page that I can find, but given some of the common themes, I suspect that Amazon will unveil a page containing all of these (and ones I missed) in the next few days, as they've done with other sales.
