One last post for the morning -- Monday TV

I'm about to head back upstairs and crawl into bed (yes, took my first sick day).

But first:

Last night's Heroes? Every bit as good as the "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" one the week before should have been. Even the predictable parts were fun.

Last night's Studio 60 was ludicrously padded, to the tune of feeling like there was only half an hour of material. I still enjoyed it, particularly the parts that didn't feature Maureen Dowd (Sorkin does subtle like I do macrame) or extended "musical guest" moments instead of plot. And I'm happy as anything that Mark McKinney's on the show. And even on a weak episode, Sarah Paulson shines. I know it'll never happen (given the nature of the awards), but she's my Best Actress pick at this point in the season, hands down.

Off to bed now.

OK, so if Mr. Dad gets Jedi mind-control bitch to take cheerleader off the list 6 months in the past, wtf was Sylar going after her? Guessing that hole will get filled, and wasn't just a sloppy plot point on their part.

Well, he assigned her to do that. We don't know if she succeeded. Or if Sylar found out through any number of other means.

I kept watching Heroes. Had to rewind more than once.

I walked away from Studio 60. I think it's time to stop watching that one.

I think he got the list from the Dr. before he was killed. Did you get the same thing I did, once Sylar kills someone he gets their power? And if so, how?

Speaking of which, how long does Peter hold a power once he comes in contact with a person?

I enjoy Studio 60 more than most folks do, it seems. Then again, I enjoyed West Wing less than most folks did.

I assume it's related to how close he is to them, and that it goes away pretty damned quickly once they do.

As a comic fan, I'm enjoying Heroes immensely. Studio 60 though, irritates me to no end.
