Mixed feelings about Black Christmas

yendiOn the one hand, the upcoming remake of Black Christmas is showing all sorts of signs that it will suck like Paris Hilton at, well, anywhere.
On the other hand, I'm tempted to see it just to piss LA Weekly "critic" Nikki Finke off.
Plus, the moron forgot Christmas Evil, Don't Open Till Christmas, and the best Christmas horror movie ever, Gremlins (which isn't a slasher, to be fair).
