Mixed feelings about Black Christmas

On the one hand, the upcoming remake of Black Christmas is showing all sorts of signs that it will suck like Paris Hilton at, well, anywhere.

On the other hand, I'm tempted to see it just to piss LA Weekly "critic" Nikki Finke off.

Plus, the moron forgot Christmas Evil, Don't Open Till Christmas, and the best Christmas horror movie ever, Gremlins (which isn't a slasher, to be fair).

And Black Christmas has the last film score by amused horror film fan Shirley Walker, the woman who set up a "Gross-O-Meter" during the scoring sessions for Final Destination 3 so that the grossness of each death was properly measured.

In other words, I doubt that the filmmakers were doing this to evilly destroy Christmas for people, unlike what that writer seems to think.
