Cat #3 is en route!

yendiWe headed up to Hopkinton today with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dicotomygrrl and hit the Baypath Humane Society in search of Elayna's final Hanukkah present -- a new cat. Since Max is 'song's cat, and Jack is mine, Elayna's been wanting a cat who will bond with her (although we've explained that there's no guarantee).
She found a gorgeous female cuddler just over 6 months old. No idea what breed she is, but she's pretty, striped, and full of purrs.
Alas, we couldn't take her home today, as she hadn't been spayed and given the proper tests, but if all goes well, we might be able to get her as early as Wednesday.
We also grabbed some very yummy food at Hopkinton Gourmet -- breakfast sandwiches, bagels, damned good coffee, and sandwiches. And we got some nifty-looking muffins that'll likely be breakfast tomorrow. If you're in that area, it's worth stopping there for breakfast or lunch.
