Amazon deals: Bond, Sundance, some reality shows

Amazon's got a few late January DVD sales:

The widescreen 2-disc edition of Casino Royale is selling for $15.99 (45% off) as a pre-order.

Meanwhile, the James Bond Ultimate Edition Box Set Bundle (containing the four sets re-released last Fall) is selling for $179.99 (50% off).

There's also a Sundance sale, with 50% off on movies like Junebug, Run, Lola, Run, The Squid and the Whale, SLC Punk, and lots of others.

Finally, there's a 50% off sale on "Real Life and True Crime," a category that includes Dog the Bounty Hunter, Criss Angel, Gene Simmons, and Rollergirls.

The Departed is also going for a great price (release date 2/3); I think I got the 2 disc super edition on order for 20.99; the one disc one I "think" is like 13.99 or so. And the Borat price was relatively tame too.

Since I get nothing from Best Buy anymore for my "preferred" Rewards Member status I'm throwing all my business back to Amazon again.

I never joined BB's program, but I'd figured on doing it eventually. I take it they lied about the whole "reward points" thing?

Well originally you paid 10 bucks a year for it and with X amount of dollars you would get 5 bucks worth of reward zone points.

then they made the program free and you have to spend XYZ amount of dollars (like 3 times the amount) for the same amount of reward zone points to get the bonus $$.

It is a joke. The Barnes and Noble discount card is the best though - I make that yearly fee back in coffee discounts alone..
