CSI, Grissom, and the box

You know what I want to see?I want to see that damned box stay closed for three seasons. Every week, Grissom will get close to opening the box, then Catherine will call him on his cell phone again, and he'll get distracted, and it'll just sit there, waiting for him.
Eventually, we'll see it sitting on a dusty shelf, and in the series finale, at the very end, he'll open it, look inside, and go, "oh, shit." And we'd fade to black.
