shadesong and I just watched this weekend's episode of Legion of Super-Heroes.

The sound you just heard from Watertown was the world's biggest nerdgasm.

Night Girl! Polar Boy! Infectious Lass! Tyr! The LSV (and like Marvel's recent moves with the Brotherhood, a smart choice to not use "villains" in the title). Invisible Kid! Colossal Boy! Porcupine Fucking Pete! Double Header! Ayla! Spider Girl! The beginning of the Triplicate Girl/Bouncing Boy romance! Guest voicework from Tara Strong and Khary Payton! Ongoing plotlines and continuity!

And Breath Boy.

And next week's episode is "The Substitutes!"

I am really happy with this series right now.

Oh, dear lord, please let that episode be sitting on my TiVo. I love me some Legion of Substitute Heroes. (I remember feeling so proud of Polar Boy when he finally made it to the big leagues — and then when he eventually got to be leader? Oh, man, good stuff.)

Y'know, sometimes I take my dorkiness for granted. Thanks for helping me remember just what a dork I really am.
