yendi1. Dear CNN and all other media outlets:
Cheating in Nascar is not news. It's an instance of dog biting man. Nascar in 2007 is about as honest as MLB in 1907, at best.
Now, tell me that Nascar has really, truly moved past the point where cheating is a major factor? That would be man biting dog. Until then, stick to more newsworthy stories, like Mooninite terrorists.
2. Dear Livejournal:
"All known problems have since been resolved and site functionality is returning to normal. We will continue to monitor site performance to address any problems as they arise" (as seen at the status page) is a load of horseshit, as the the problems described there seemed only to begin when that update was posted. I mean, fucking apache 404 errors? Have you moved the servers to Brad's basement?
