Wednesday morning notes

yendi1. Veronica Mars kicked ass and took names last night.
2. I posted my horror review hella late last night. Read it here.
3. I got to the bus stop a little bit early (in spite of the ice), so I was able to grab a Maple Cheddar Croissant for breakfast. Yum!

kradical's World of Warcraft novel (I jump less at Krad books that aren't original or in universes I follow), but there's at least one negative review here that convinces me to bump it up my to-buy list, if only because anyone who loves the world enough to edit the wikipedia entries is clearly someone I should listen to.
5. I'm off to interview a candidate for a position here. I just found out that he's coming about two minutes ago, and the interview is in seven minutes. Time to scramble!

For the rest of the episode, he became death obsessed, going so far as to go to the Batallion Aid Station and trying to find out from the dying soldiers what it was like. One guy at the aid station's final words were, "I smell bread." Then he expired, leaving a very confused Winchester.
As soon as Lamb said that, I knew he was (pun partly intended) toast.

When Sheriff Lamb shot the mirror, I shook my head and said, "One day he's going to do something stupid and get himself--" and before I could say "killed", that was exactly what he did.
This season's been up and down a bit, but in general I think the "Dean's murder" arc has been the best so far. I'm not sure how the rest of the season's going to be, with no arc at all though.
