You know what sucks about the weather warming up just a tad? Having the snow and ice in front of your house melt just enough to turn into a nice thin layer of black ice in the morning. Really fun when taking out the trash.

Fuckin' ow. No matter how well-padded my butt might be, falling still hurts. My back ain't too happy, either.

That's exactly how my accident happened four years ago (http://norda.livejournal.com/168083.html). Four surgeries and a helluva lot of physical therapy later, I've learned that there are some days when it just isn't worth it to put the garbage out.
