And another squee!
Apr. 16th, 2007 11:50 amI won a $10 Amazon GC at Winzy!
Winzy, incidentally, is just like Blingo in concept: Use it for searching, and you can randomly win prizes (and, if you join based on my link, I also win prizes when you win). In both cases, I use the plug-ins that allow them to appear in addition to the Google search bar in Firefox, which is a lot less obtrusive than going to the actual web page.
Both are legit (I've been using Winzy for a couple of months, but didn't want to mention it until I won a prize other than Winzy Points, which are imply entries into a month-end contest), and I've won gift certificates and other prizes on both. I prefer Blingo for search results (it uses Google, whereas Winzy uses Ask.com), but Winzy has the advantage of also being available to folks in Canada. Since each cap the number of prize-eligible searches a day, I end up using both, anyway.
